Hey!
It's been already over half a year of building, time to share some insights and learnings.
We started our toolkit with 6 different web tools:
- QR Code Generator: Easily create QR codes for text, URLs, or data that can be scanned by smartphones and tablets.
- Currency Converter: Convert currencies with real-time exchange rates for various currencies worldwide.
- Word & Character Counter: Instantly count words and characters in your text or document.
- Weight Converter: Convert weights between kilograms, pounds, ounces, and more.
- Length Converter: Convert lengths and distances between meters, feet, inches, and more.
- Temperature Converter: Convert temperatures between Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin.
We have since then added three more tools:
- Image Compressor: Easily compress images that are in either JPG, PNG, or WEBP format right in your web browser.
- PDF Compressor: Compressing PDF files right in your web browser without sending anything to an external server,
- Percentage Calculator: Quickly calculate different percentages, whether you're determining discounts, tax amounts, or percentage changes.
We have another 3 tools in the pipeline that we hope to launch very soon.
Some statistics for the first 6 months of Internet Toolkit:
- We had users 23.000 visit our platform (amazing!)
- A total of 33.000 page views.
- Most used tools: Word & Character Counter, Image Compressor & Currency Converter
- Most visited by country: United States, Turkey & Brazil
We will invest in writing new blog posts in the next 3 months, we will try to upload an update every week and start developing social media channels more actively. Currently looking at Instagram, Twitter & Pinterest.
